AIESEC in Queensland of Technology is a community for QUT Students passionate about developing themselves to be more globally minded leaders for a better worlds. AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.



AMPed is Queensland University of Technology’s student society for advertising, marketing, public relations (AMPR) and international business (IB). The society was first established in 2005, and in 2015 was rebranded, revamped and relaunched.

Business and Management Student Association (BAMSA)


In accordance with the belief that strong human capital is fundamental in any successful business, BAMSA is committed to providing students with the best opportunities to develop themselves into extremely competent employees.

Deakin Economics and Finance Association


The Deakin Economics and Finance Association aims to meet the specific needs of economics and finance students at Deakin University. DEFA aims to enhance members’ university experience and provides career, academic and social events and a space for members to discuss and explore contemporary economic and finance issues.

Griffith University Association of Commerce (GUAC)


GUAC aims to support students’ professional development, employability, engagement and interaction. GUAC encourages students to participate within their industry, to build practical skills outside of their study and to make real connections with industry professionals and organisations.

La Trobe Journalism, Media, Arts & Communications Society


The La Trobe, Journalism, Media, Arts and Communication Society (JMAC) is a La Trove Student Union initiative which exists to provide support and networking opportunities to students studying journalism, media, arts, communication and everything in-between. JMAC provides La Trobe students with the opportunity to meet like-minded peers in a fun and social environment.

Monash Progressive Law Network 


The PLN is a network of lawyers, law students and community leaders working to promote social and environmental justice through the law. Broadly, the PLN engages members through its thought-provoking seminars and guest presentations. On a practical level, the PLN supports social justice lawyering through provision of volunteer internship opportunities and public interest career advice for law students.

QUT Economics and Finance Society (QUTEFS)


The QUT Economics and Finance Society informs, inspires and incorporates its members into the real world. Through professional workshops, extensive networking events and educational seminars, EFS positions its members effectively for future employment.

RMIT Entrepreneurship and Start-up Association (RESA)


RESA aims to continuously engage the student entrepreneur community by providing opportunities for them to connect, take action and grow. RESA aspires to build a thriving community that cultivates creativity, innovation and encourages students to turn ideas into reality.

QUT Science Students’ Association


The QUT Science Students’ Association is a club for QUT students and members of the public who study or have an interest in science. The Association aims to provide regular social events, as well as networking opportunities and other events with an academic focus.



Founded in 2016, the University of Queensland Marketing and Advertising Society (UQMAS) is a student society that aims to provide marketing and advertising students with opportunities to enhance their university experience, complement their degrees and practice industry specific skills.
