Making 2019 the year of YOU.

Happy New Year to you!

Although I am acutely aware that it is already February 1st as I write this … I wanted to kick off our 2019 Career Hacks articles with a focus on the year ahead.

What will 2019 be to you?

Is it a year of challenge? Is it a year of completion? Is it a year of growth? Is this the year you nail things on the career front?

Regardless of your goals … I challenge you to commit to making 2019 the year of YOU.

Looking for some out of the box ideas on how you can do this?

After reflecting for some time on how I could best articulate this, I came up with the below …

Nothing.

What? Wondering if we forgot to insert the meat of the article?

No … that’s right. I came up with nothing.

Because if 2019 is going to be the year of YOU … then YOU are the only person that can define what that means. YOU are the only person who can define what success does and doesn’t look like and YOU are the only person who knows what you need to do to achieve your goals.

Looking for a bit of inspo? Simply search “New Years Resolutions” on google and you will be served with over 130 million articles in under a second …

> “50 New Year’s Resolution Ideas And How To Achieve Each Of Them.”
> “How to Make (and Keep) a New Year’s Resolution.”
> “New Year’s resolutions: How to make good ones and keep them.”

The list goes on and on … but as well-meaning as each of these articles are … not a single one is all about YOU.

So as much as the team at genYOU are all about giving out the advice, and sharing our #NoFilter wisdom with you … this year I want to start by asking the question: How can we help YOU?

Because YOU know what help you need to achieve your goals, YOU know where your gaps are and  YOU know what will help drive you most.

So take a chance, drop us a line and tell us what we can do to help make 2019 the year of YOU.
